Dave Peterson is a Strategic Living Coach and the founder of New Venture Coaching. He works with Millennial pastors and ministry leaders, helping them explore how their calling best aligns with their current context.

An ordained minister with the Assemblies of God for over 40 years, Dave brings extensive pastoral experience to his coaching. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Secondary Education from Houghton College, followed by a Master of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. After completing seminary in 1980, he built a diverse pastoral career, serving in three churches and filling several interim positions. He was also the founding pastor of a church in New York, where he served for over 25 years.

Leadership, productivity, self-help, and human motivation have always been his areas of fascination. He holds several coaching certifications, including ACC (Associate Certified Coach) with the International Coaching Federation, CCC (Certified Christian Coach), AG3 (Assemblies of God Level 3 Coach) and CPLC (Certified Professional Life Coach) from the Professional Christian Coaching Institute.  Dave is also a Strengths Champion Certified Coach, specializing in Clifton Strengths.

Dave's extensive travels have taken him to regions such as the former Soviet Union, the Baltics, Africa, and India, where he has taught in mission colleges and seminaries as an adjunct professor and served as a keynote speaker at Global Leadership Training conferences. His work with both established and emerging leaders worldwide has given him a unique perspective on applying life and leadership principles to pastoral life in North America.

Dave and his wife have been married for over 47 years. Together, they have four adult children and eight grandchildren, and they live in the rolling hills of Connecticut with their Yorkie-Shih Tzu mix, Cooper.
